FactoryTalk Logix Echo by Rockwell Automation, Inc. is a controller emulation environment that lets you develop, run, and test Studio 5000 Logix projects on a PC—without requiring physical ControlLogix or CompactLogix hardware. It mirrors the execution model of Logix controllers (tasks, programs, tags, and communications), so you can validate logic, exercise sequences, and debug earlier in the lifecycle. Because the emulated controllers behave like real devices on the network, HMIs, historians, and simulation tools can connect to them using standard CIP over EtherNet/IP.
Designed to fit seamlessly into the FactoryTalk DesignSuite ecosystem, FactoryTalk Logix Echo uses the same project files and workflows you already know from Studio 5000 Logix Designer. You can download, monitor, force, and troubleshoot logic in real time, and you can run multiple virtual controllers on a single workstation to test system-level interactions before commissioning.
